# Getting Started with 0xramp

> Connect a P2P.me account or external wallet and place your first order in minutes.

0xramp supports two ways to connect. Either way, your identity and limits are managed by P2P.me's on-chain system -- not by 0xramp.

## Login options

| Option             | Best for                    | How                                                                                        |
| ------------------ | --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **P2P.me account** | New users, no wallet needed | Gas-sponsored smart account. No seed phrase. Sign in via Google, email, phone, or passkey. |
| **Rabby**          | EVM wallet users            | Connect your existing Ethereum/Base wallet.                                                |
| **Phantom**        | Solana wallet users         | Connect your existing Solana wallet.                                                       |

## P2P.me account

A P2P.me account is a gas-sponsored smart contract wallet on Base. Your identity lives on-chain, transaction fees are covered, and your limits and reputation are portable across any app that uses P2P.me (including [app.p2p.me](https://app.p2p.me)).

To sign in: go to [0xramp.app](https://www.0xramp.app), click **Login**, and select **Access your P2P.me account**.

## External wallets

If you already have a self-custody wallet, connect it directly. Your keys stay in your wallet -- 0xramp only reads your public address. Limits and reputation are tied to your wallet address through P2P.me's on-chain system.

## Your first order
