Every 0xramp transaction moves through three layers: P2P.me orchestrates the order and handles fiat payment plus USDC escrow on Base, NEAR Intents converts USDC to or from your chosen asset, and 0xramp ties it together with quotes and status tracking.

Buy (fiat to crypto)

1

Enter amount and address

Choose the asset you want (ZEC, NEAR, SOL, etc.), enter your receiving wallet address, and review the quote.
2

Pay via your local rail

A payment code appears (Pix QR, UPI ID, Alias, etc.). Pay the exact amount from your bank app. The payment goes to a P2P.me merchant. 0xramp never handles your payment credentials.
3

Receive your crypto

P2P.me matches your payment and locks USDC in escrow on Base. NEAR Intents converts that USDC into your asset and delivers it to your wallet. Typically takes around 6 minutes.

Sell (crypto to fiat)

1

Enter sell amount and fiat key

Select the asset and amount to sell, then enter your fiat payment key (Pix key, UPI ID, Alias, etc.).
2

Send your crypto

The app shows a deposit address and exact amount. Send from your wallet. This is a two-leg process: your asset is first swapped to USDC on Base via NEAR Intents, then a P2P.me merchant pays you in fiat.
3

Receive fiat

Once your deposit is confirmed on-chain, the merchant releases the fiat payment to your key. Funds appear in your bank or payment app shortly after.

Pay with QR (pilot)

Fund a merchant QR payment using ZEC. You deposit ZEC, it converts to USDC, and a PAY order is created. The partner provides a fresh merchant QR for you to pay. See Pay with QR for details.
All orders are placed on-chain by your wallet or P2P.me smart account. 0xramp has no custody of your funds at any point.
